How To Use Our Free Google Ads Match Type Tool

Our keyword generator is a simple to use tool that takes a comma (,) separated list of keywords and then returns a list of modified keywords that can be used in tools and platforms such as Google Ads. If you want a bit more info on how to use this keyword tool, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Select your match types - The first step is to select the match type you want. We have a range of options avaiable from Modified Broad Match (+) to [Exact Match] and more. Our keyword generator allows you to select multiple match types so you can get multple conversions done in one go.

Step 2: Enter Keywords - Once you have selected your desired match types, enter the keywords you want to convert into the Enter Keywords text box. These should be entered as a comma separated list (eg. dog toys, chew toys, interactive toys, squeaky toys).

Step 3: Click "Create Keyword List" - After entering your keywords, click the "Create Keyword List" button to generate a list of keywords in your selected match types. These generated keywords will appear in in the "Output" text area as a list. We also have separate text boxes for Modified Broad Match (+), "Phrase Match" and [Exact Match], so you can easily access them even if you create a list with all match types selected.

Step 4: Click "Copy List" - Use the "Copy List" button to copy the contents of its respective text box. This can then be pasted into your Ad/keyword tool of choice (eg. Google Ads). Alternatively, you can press Ctrl A (Windows) or Cmd A (Mac) to select all the contents of the text box.

Step 5: Click "Clear All Fields" - To reset the text boxes, click the "Clear All Fields" button.
